Some about me and the terriers.
To start correctly I must tell you I got interested in hunting already back in the 70' and I bought my first Double Barrel 12-bore 1972.
I was hunting a lot during the time up til 1981 when I became an under keeper at one of the largest Estates in Sweden. Hunting at the Estate was different from what I was used to as they did a lot of wild fowling. Also they bred game birds. I realized I needed a Retriever and I bought a Labrador. After the Labrador I kept Chesapeake Bay Retrievers snd also one Flatcoat.
At this time I also applied for my KC prefix - Double Barrels - and I bred a couple of Chessie litters.
The Retrievers where great dogs but not suitable for all type jobs and I realized I had to get a smaller addition.
Janet Morris, the breeder of my Chessie introduced me to her brother, Eddie Chapman, and the first Jack Russell entered into my life.
The year was 1985 and the breed Parson Russell was not even formed.
The first JR was a female named Dash and after her I purchased a male named Brock and the first litter was born under the prefix Foxbolt.
I imported some more JR in the end of the 80'. One was a female named Trim. She and Brock had some litters and a couple of the of springs became very important when the Parson was accepted by the KC.
When I bought Sati from Germany I found out she was registered with the German KC, VDH, and I decided not to remove her.
When she came to Sweden I did transfer all other terriers to my husband who still use them for hunting.
My best friend, Bonnie Edison, Edison Kennel in Florida, offered me Ditto and with him I realized I was in love with the breed.
Some more Parsons have been added after Ditto and you will meet them all on their own pages.
I really do hope you will like them a lot.
You are welcome to contact me if you have any questions about my terriers or about the pages.
